Educational Technology Committee Vision

Digital Technology is essential to foster adaptive lifelong learning in a changing global landscape. Within the cultural context of northern communities, we envision learning environments where:

  • Students become inspired, ethical and critical creators, collaborators and consumers of media and digital technology.

  • Educators use technology to enhance, differentiate and transform learning across the curriculum utilizing a student centered approach.

  • Administrators are “lead learners” who inspire, model, and cultivate the use of technology in learning.

Another great resource to begin or support discussions is: CBC’s Beyond 94 .
